Senior Tech Maintenance Manufacturing

Your tasks and responsibilities

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Technician Maintenance Manufacturing, are to: 

 

  • Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting on automated equipment in support of manufacturing;
  • Provide technical guidance to manufacturing and equipment maintenance in helping to plan PMs, assisting or leading with completion of PM activities, assisting or leading configuration and tool changes;
  • Assess line performance to determine short and long term maintenance needs of equipment over time, including the development of maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance plans;
  • Lead the technical investigation of exception events or quality issues, identifying and executing immediate corrections and identifying long term corrective actions that prevent reoccurrence;
  • Apply a disciplined approach to solving mechanical and electrical problems while adhering to procedures and practices of working within a regulated industry environment;
  • Support and assist the Manufacturing Engineering Department with project activities such as protocols, engineering studies, equipment design, fabrication, and prototyping.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Two year technical associates degree;
  • At least five years of full-time relevant work experience;
  • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting of mechanical / automated assembly equipment;
  • Knowledge and troubleshooting of system controls and logic;
  • Knowledge and direct maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems;
  • Mathematical and measurement skills to interpret specifications used in the set-up of machinery and test equipment;
  • Knowledge and direct maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system;
  • Technical writing skills used in the creation of maintenance reports, calibration logs and technical investigations;
  • Understanding and application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

     

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience working in FDA and ISO regulated industries;
  • Experience working within a controlled cleanroom manufacturing environment;
  • Experience with SAP;
  • Experience in the development of junior technicians.
