Senior Analyst Government Contracting Pricing

Your tasks and responsibilities

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Analyst Government Contracting Pricing, are to:   

 

  • Establish and maintain department databases and develop spreadsheets of importance to department;
  • Assist and analyze, as necessary, government pricing program and projects as needed (i.e., pricing validations, developing spreadsheets, etc.);
  • Schedule and track projects, department contracts and purchase orders as needed;
  • Develop clear and concise documentation to identify processes with company's polices and guidelines;
  • Work closely with managers on various projects and systems;
  • Collaborate across multiple functions, departments and levels;
  • Perform additional accountabilities as required;
  • Manage all of the Government files and assist in audit process.

Required Qualifications:  

 

  • B.S. or B.A. degree with at least six years of experience;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Must possess strong analytical and organization skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities;
  • Understanding of financial analysis, some legal terminology, and contract procedures;
  • Highly developed communication skills are important and sensitivity to people with varying backgrounds is necessary to maintain contact with all levels of internal and external customers;
  • The ability to learn and understand computer operations and capabilities that are necessary to direct the implementation and utilization of internal tracking systems;
  • Ability to work independently, with no routine supervision and collaboratively within and across teams;
  • Must be able to perform duties with the highest degree of efficiency and accuracy as it directly impacts on company sales, profits and the integrity of Bayer;
  • Interpersonal skills are critical for success given that incumbent must communicate effectively across all levels of management;
  • Some project management skills.

     

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Background in Pharmaceuticals or equivalent;
  • Experience in SAP, Business Warehouse (BW) and Vistex.
