Your tasks and responsibilities

Recruiter, are to: 


  • Ability to manage all aspects of the recruiting process from non-exempt through Sr. Manager level positions;
  • ​​​​​​​Driving the selection process, and making recommendations Improvements to lead to a more efficient selection decision; on Involved in industry associations and symposiums to further build relationships with potential talent; attend career fairs and other company and/or industry events, representing Bayer's HR Recruiting Department to further market the Bayer brand and attract, greet, Interview and/or recruit potential talent;
  • Manage all aspects of the talent acquisition process including sourcing, candidate identification, compensation analysis, offer proposals and offer negotiation, pre-employment clearance validation, etc.;
  • Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEOC) guidelines related to sourcing and selection;
  • Counsel managers on all aspects of the recruiting process, including a compliant use of the applicant tracking system; consult with hiring managers to ensure accuracy of job postings and to gather competencies and requirements;
  • Develop, recommend and execute various sourcing strategies, such as college/university recruiting, internet jobboards, social media, resume mining and job fairs to attract a diverse and inclusive talent pool;
  • Utilize corporate applicant tracking system in a compliant manner to manage the recruitment process, ensuring a high level of integrity into the system;
  • Perform behavioral, competency and skill-based interviews  to assess

Who you are

  • Recommend candidate shortlist to hiring managers, based on requirements of position and competencies; facilitate the selection process with the hiring managers and interview teams, consulting and counseling managers on final selection decision and negotiations;
  • Partner with the recruiting operations group to ensure high quality delivery of process effectiveness, which includes system integrity, work authorization, and administrative quality;
  • Sell the Bayer employment experience and ensure candidates/employees have a positive experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle;
  • May participate in project groups, leading small to mid-size project groups, or mentoring junior colleagues;
  • Interacts regularly with senior management; Sets levels of performance for others at Bayer to emulate.

Required Qualifications:


  • B.A./B.S. with 6+ years of recruiting OR high school diploma/G.E.D. with 12-14 years of business experience
  • A combination of agency and corporate recruiting experience is preferred;
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing hard-to-find candidates and filling senior-level and/or management-level positions;
  • Demonstrated experience managing a high requisition portfolio while maintaining customer service standards;
  • Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEOC) guidelines related to sourcing and selection;
  • Demonstrated experience using resume databases, internet search tools and/or social networking to find and attract top talent;
  • Demonstrated ability to instill trust, analyze and solve problems ​​​​​​​while anticipating the needs of our business partners;
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
