Insights Producer Sr. Analyst

Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Insights Producer Sr. Analyst, are to: 


  • Lead and apply context around digital spend and conversion (micro/macro) to support a Return on Investment/Return on Advertising Spend (ROI/ROAS) based model to inform and guide a robust media optimization strategy;
  • Manage the establishment of a measurement model that leverages the current Bayer tools as well as emerging platforms/technologies and take a leadership position across Brands and Agency partners in making data available to Brands and across the Division and providing analytical insight for ROI or campaign optimization purposes;
  • Identify trends and a common framework to support the efficient application of measurement across multiple divisions;
  •  Operationalize the approach by managing and contributing to the development of a "playbook-like" reference tool to applications can be easily adapted and implemented across multiple brands in all divisions;
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Bayer measurement framework and digital analytics model for the ability to benchmark performance and provide context around channel performance;
  • Collaborate on the establishment of enterprise digital standards and analytic best practices to ensure optimal channel activation and any recommended optimization based on greatest impact with multiple stakeholders including Senior Management;
  • Reduce risk and ensure compliance of the brand’s digital assets by managing the development and maintenance of key compliance documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines required to guide the division; Contribute to the determination if an update is required after Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or Federal Trade Commission (FTC) industry guidance documents are issued by leading a review of the current guidelines;
  • Monitor portfolio of websites to ensure sites are officially approved for use;
  • Manage digital agencies and suppliers as it relates to the Bayer Measurement and analytics strategy;
  • Manage and contribute to shape and evolve the division’s digital agency/supplier platform through an understanding of the consumer and brand’s needs;
  • Manage and contribute to shape aspects of identifying, reviewing and contracting digital agency partners and suppliers;
  • Responsible for the implementation of digital innovation including social, mobile and video and leads the execution of cross functional projects that facilitate future enablement in an effort to maximize consumer and other key audience engagement;
  • Accountable to empower the entire organization with digital and social media learnings, best practices, and resources.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years’ of IT or business experience OR Master's Degree with at least 8 years’ of IT or business experience OR Doctorate with at least 1 Year of IT or business experience OR at least 14 years’ of applicable IT or business experience;
  • At least 4 years’ dedicated digital marketing experience including management of digital analytics implementations and reporting solutions;
  • At least 4 – 6 years’ of experience in digital marketing analytics or data science role;
  • Understanding of marketing clouds and digital data technologies (DMPs, Google 360 Suite, digital pixel tracking, site tagging, etc.)
  • Experience with mixed media modeling and digital attribution technology such as Google, DoubleClick, IRI, Convertro or Visual IQ;
  • Experience visualizing and analyzing multiple disparate data sets into one cohesive digital story;
  • Structured thinker and clear in verbal and written communication, concise and on-point when answering and asking questions;
  • Prior experience in setting direction and engaging with strategy/analytics agencies, technical suppliers, and providers of analytic services;
  • Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to communicate highly complex ideas in a simple effective manner;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence change;
  • Thorough knowledge of digital strategy development, digital strategies, channels and measurement/analytics.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • A certification in Google Analytics or other Web Analytics platform (Adobe);
  • Expertise using tools such as Tableau, Beckon, and/or other data aggregation and visualization tools;
  • Experience in healthcare marketing;
  • Agency/Marketing/IT background.
