Hematology Nurse Educator - South East Territory

Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Hematology Nurse Educator - South East Territory, are to: 

  • Develop strategic plans for targeted accounts to include access opportunities;
  • Develop primary strategy and pull through initiatives for targeted HTC's;
  • Strong platform skills and persuasive communication abilities;
  • Support region as disease and product expert for sales training;
  • Member of Commercial brand planning team;
  • Primary focus on high priority customers in hemophilia clinical community
  • Contributes to strategic planning and implementation of Regional growth strategy
  • Educates Account Executives and Regional Managers on emerging concepts in hemophilia treatment;
  • Serves as disease and product expert to sales training;
  • Commercial Key Opinion Leader Develop;
  • Builds productive external work relationships;
  • Cultivates strategic, long term, productive relationships with nurse KOLs, mid-level practitioners and MD’s within the hemophilia community;
  • Develops strategies and pull through educational opportunities for targeted HTC’s and large accounts;
  • Exhibits strong communication skills and persuasive abilities;
  • External Business Liaison;
  • Serves as a liaison, educator, and promotional conduit to hemophilia Health Care Professionals;
  • Key driver for hard to access accounts;
  • Generates new scripts for Bayer hemophilia portfolio;
  • Educates, persuades, and articulates favorable position for Bayer hemophilia product portfolio;
  • Takes lead on project initiatives;
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving skills;
  • Provides KOL feedback to Bayer internal partners;
  • Business Results Orientation;
  • Disseminates approved product education and communicates favorable positioning for Bayer portfolio products;
  • Acts as key contributor to revenue generation;

  • Acts as a clinical resource to hematology BU;

  • Enhance value proposition to customers;
  • Shares enhanced clinical knowledge via peer to peer support;
  • Enhance relationships with key customers through supporting optimal patient outcomes and experiences.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing;
  • 4 years clinical expertise in hemophilia;
  • Must be able to handle extensive travel, overnight and weekend requirements;
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Advanced ability to think strategically;
  • Collaborative leadership skills;
  • Project management;
  • Ability to work with teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced nursing degree;
  • Prior sales experience in health care industry.
