Seed Tech III
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities as Seed Technician III are to:
- Operate equipment and systems in own area and alignment with existing procedures, promoting standardization and ensuring efficient production processes;
- Alert senior technicians and leadership as needed when nonconformities in product or process variance occur;
- Assist in the preparation, review, and approval for key process documentation;
- Help facilitate Team meetings (multiple levels) and drive effective shift handover collaborating with peers and across shifts to drive performance improvement;
- Support the area by keeping metrics and other information current on visual boards/data dashboards to drive teamwork, support data-driven decisions, and facilitate shift changes;
- Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to the company's Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards;
- Comply with internal procedures and support compliance with legal requirements applicable to the local area;
- Identify opportunities to improve performance in accordance with production area, site, and company goals;
- Perform cleaning, basic mechanical maintenance, and preventative maintenance on area equipment;
- Participates in multi-functional and cross-site collaboration HSE Program subject matter expert;
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least two years of demonstrated performance/experience in the related area OR BS with minimal one year of experience;
- Basic knowledge of information technology systems and applications;
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license;
- Ability to work long hours and rotational shifts, including overtime, weekend, and holiday as needed;
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written;
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds, work in and outdoors, walk on uneven surfaces.
Preffered Qualifications:
- Prior Research and Development experience
- Basic knowledge of technology
