Manufacturing IT Co-Op
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Manufacturing IT Co-Op, are to:
- Perform explanatory data analyses, generate and test working hypotheses, prepare and analyze historical data, and identify patterns;
- Help to drive the analytical scope and method for projects, including formulating and shaping the models in collaboration with Team Members, End Users, and other Stakeholders;
- Write highly optimized code to develop useful products for the business;
- Present results and opportunities to all Stakeholders.

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our life values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required qualifications:
- Must be at least one year into a Bachelor's degree program;
- Structured Query Language(SQL) knowledge and experience working with relational databases and query authoring (SQL) is a must;
- Must have a working familiarity with a variety of databases;
- Must have experience in multivariate statistical procedures (multiple regression, MANOVA, factor analysis, etc.);
- Must have strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets;
- Experience with visualization tools (R, Qlikview, Spotfire,Tableau, etc.) is required;
- Must have the ability to learn new technologies and applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- At least one year into a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
