Co-Op Manufacturing
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Co-Op Manufacturing are to:
- Must be involved in projects including, but not limited to, changeover reduction, 5S, Pareto Analysis, time study, value stream mapping, standardized work, and optimization of workflows, kaizen events, and statistical process control;
- Basic use of project management skills;
- Must be willing to troubleshoot maintenance and reliability issues;
- Learn the basics of pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Packaging processing and equipment including dispensing, mixing, wet granulation, tablet compression, coating, and tablet printing;
- Be able to review equipment specifications;
- Be able to collect and analyze data;
- Work with non-union plant personnel and possibly external vendors to implement solutions.

Required qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor in Science in Engineering;
- Preferred candidate is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in any of the following majors: Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Material Science Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering;
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Must have in-depth knowledge of MS Office;
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail;
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
