Our Information Technology Team collaborates across organizational boundaries and with external partners, focusing on innovative solutions to exceed our customers’ needs. As a College New Hire or Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work on daily run activities, global and regional projects, mergers, acquisitions and divestures as well as innovation-driven assignments.

To prepare you for a career in Information Technology, Bayer offers two program options — internships for current college students and a College New Hire program for recent college graduates:

 

Intern Program Length & Details

Designed to support participants in the journey to become Bayer’s leaders of tomorrow, this opportunity provides real work experience in a summer assignment. Current students can expect to gain experience with broad and rich exposure to the wide range of critical services that IT provides to Bayer’s businesses. Opportunities may be located at any one of our many facilities, which includes but is not limited to: Whippany, NJ; Pittsburgh, PA;  St. Louis, MO; Berkeley, CA.

College New Hire (CNH) Program Length & Details

Designed to attract and develop high-potential candidates who have recently completed degree programs, this opportunity provides entry-level positions in Bayer’s IT department  Through our College New Hire program, individuals will gain exposure through various assignments designed to challenge and develop them for positions of greater responsibility during their first 12-18 months with Bayer, followed by a permanent assignment.  Opportunities may be located at any one of our many facilities, which includes but is not limited to: Whippany, NJ; Pittsburgh, PA; St. Louis, MO; Berkeley, CA.

What comes after the program?

Following a successful internship, you are encouraged to apply for the Information Technology College New Hire program upon graduation. If you interned in the summer before your junior year, you may apply for a second internship before your senior year.

The College New Hire program is designed to support participants in their journey to becoming Bayer’s IT leaders of tomorrow. At the suc­cessful completion of your program, you’ll continue to learn and enhance your IT and leadership skills. The commitment to your develop­ment extends beyond the program, as mentors keep guiding your career throughout.
